I explain the social construction of motherhood, the ‘consumption’ of motherhood, and how our beliefs about Motherhood shape our experience as Mothers. I outline of the ‘mummy wars’ and how they keep mothers distracted and disempowered. The talk finishes with the ‘8 rules of perfect motherhood’, inviting you to begin to ‘see’ these as you move forward in your experience of mothering.
